Overview

Petroplan USA, LLC in Houston, TX seeks a HR Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead strategic and leadership recruitment for senior-level professional, managerial, and executive personnel for a broad spectrum of upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas activities.  Requires two years’ experience as senior consultant for major, multinational upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas companies to source technical and commercial personnel engaged in a broad range of professional disciplines, gathering information about staffing vacancies and the general business needs of clients, creating database to source candidates, analyzing candidate qualifications, participating in full lifecycle recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for senior, technical, and commercial roles across energy projects and operations
• Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to understand organizational objectives and define hiring strategies
• Develop and manage job requisitions, including advising on role scope, market positioning, and recruitment approach
• Source, screen, and evaluate candidates, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project needs
• Conduct interviews, manage candidate engagement, and support offer negotiation through to placement
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines across key energy disciplines
• Network extensively to develop candidate relationships and market intelligence
• Utilize internal systems and databases to track candidates, market trends, and recruitment activity

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in recruitment within the oil and gas or energy sector
• Proven experience sourcing and placing technical and commercial professionals across upstream, midstream, and downstream environments
• Demonstrated ability to manage full lifecycle recruitment processes
• Strong understanding of client requirements and ability to translate business needs into effective hiring strategies
