Job Description
Petroplan are looking to hire a Offshore Field Engineer to work for a major client of ours in Aberdeen.
This role is a permanent staff position paying an annual salary.
You will be given a 160-day contract, and Engineers would be given visibility of the rota/schedule for the year.
Approximate trip duration would be around 4 weeks at a time.
The Offshore Field Engineer is a key role within our Operations team providing assistance to a project in preparation of the project execution onboard the vessel and to check the equipment before and during the mobilisation.
The Offshore Field Engineer will support offshore operations and ensure that construction activities are performed in accordance with procedures in a safe and efficient manner.
Reporting to the Offshore Manager you may also be required to assist the current project in undertaking engineering tasks relating to offshore operations.

- Possess Seafarer Medical (ENG1) and OEUK Medical
- Possess survival certificate to OPITO standard
- Appropriate offshore professional experience in subsea construction with installation of flexible risers and umbilicals
