Join Our Client's Team as an HVAC Technician!
Do you have a passion for keeping things cool (or warm)? We're seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to ensure our client's heating, air-conditioning, and ventilation systems run smoothly and efficiently. From installation to troubleshooting, this role is ideal for someone who loves hands-on work in a dynamic mining environment.

What You'll Do:

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on cooling and heating systems.
• Install, repair, and maintain key mechanical equipment, including motors, pumps, fans, compressors, coils, and more.
• Work with furnaces, boilers, heat exchangers, and various heating/cooling units to keep systems running efficiently.
• Manage and maintain electrical controls directly related to refrigeration and cooling equipment.
• Safely recover refrigerants and handle all necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals and take on additional duties as needed.

What You Bring:

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial HVAC maintenance and installation.
• Knowledge and skills in diagnosing refrigerant system pressures and understanding HVAC equipment hazards.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical systems (480/208 3 phase, 120 volt) and gas systems.
• Experience in brazing and soldering refrigerant lines for installation and repair.
• Self-motivated and a strong team player with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Training from a Trade School program in HVAC electrical/mechanical systems and chiller operation.
• 5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and installation.
• Certifications like NATE (North American Technicians Excellence) and ICE (Industry Competency Exam).
• Experience with refrigeration systems and chiller troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with SAP software.

What to Expect:

• Work in a variety of environments, including mines and manufacturing plants, which may involve exposure to temperature extremes, moving machinery, and hazardous materials.
• Physical tasks such as standing, climbing stairs and ladders, working on elevated platforms, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Personal protective equipment provided for safety.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, as part of a 24/7/365 operation.
