Production Engineer

Job Description

• Support technical assessment of well kill options and applicability at Terra Nova considering future use requirements of subject well, Interfacing with other Asset functions as required
• Work with fluids providers to initiate required testing/verification for fluid options
• Planning for pumping operations, including consideration for well status, impacts to nearby wells
• Pre-job and post-job well management, plans and verification of wellbore fluids, reservoir conditions and ongoing monitoring plan.
• Liaise with Facilities Engineering to support operations timing, plan for wellbore preparedness, etc
• Supporting internal / external discussions with ongoing well management and monitoring
• Support evaluation for decision to conduct well kill (risk vs benefit)
• Support internal and external discussions (regulators) as required to gain alignment
