Advisor, Finance & Planning

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Finance team member who can translate complex information into validated insights and solutions. You will have the opportunity to influence and facilitate change within our Finance organization.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft tools
• Strong interpersonal skills in business partnering
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail

Asset:

• Recognized accounting designation (CA, CPA, CMA, CGA) or in progress

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly accruals and performance management reports
• Coordinate and deliver monthly forecasts, budget and business planning deliverables
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis and clearly communicate findings
• Drive continuous improvements in performance reporting and planning processes.
• Gather and interpret data from different sources, identify and analyze operational trends, and develop strategies to address issues or concerns.

Duration:

• 1 year assignment
• Based in office at office in St. John's, NL
