Contract Instructional Designer/ETRM System Training

Description:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Organizational Change, Client is seeking a skilled Instructional Designer to develop training for the first phase of our Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) system and then a comprehensive training program for the second phase of the project.
During the first phase, this role involves partnering with our system integration partner and leveraging a previously developed needs assessment and curriculum to create fit-for-purpose training materials, including eLearning modules, videos, instructor-led training guides, and webinars using quick reference content provided by the system integrator.

Key Responsibilities:
*Training Material Development: Design and develop engaging training materials, including eLearning modules, videos, instructor-led training guides, and webinars.
*Training Schedule and Delivery: Manage the current training plan, train the trainers, and publish materials as required.
*Effectiveness Assessment: Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary improvements.
*Support and Reinforcement: Support superusers in providing post-go-live reinforcement and support to end users.
*Documentation Maintenance: Maintain and update documentation and user guides as required during the hypercare phase.
*Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with the Organizational Change Management (OCM) team and system integrator, ensuring timely delivery of training materials.

Qualifications:
*Proven experience in instructional design, preferably with ETRM systems.
*Strong ability to work iteratively and adapt to changing project requirements.
*Ability to identify and communicate risks and roadblocks effectively.
*Demonstrated creativity, analytical skills, and delivery focus.
*Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools, ideally Articulate Suite and Murf AI.
*Quick learner and fast worker.
*Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
*Experience with specific ETRM systems, especially RightAngle.
*Certification in instructional design or a related field.

Contract Details: This role is for an initial eight months, with the possibility of a 12-month extension to complete the second phase of the project.
