Enterprise Applications Functional Specialist

Job Description

Main Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day operational support for Oracle applications, including Inventory/Warehouse Management, Purchasing, Advanced Procurement, Custom Applications, Enterprise Asset Management, and Human Resource Management modules.
Assist in IT system testing, facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and manage change for Oracle bug fixes and enhancements.
Manage user accounts for Oracle ERP solutions, ensuring proper access and security measures are in place.
Provide support and training to users of all applications to maximize benefits. Ensure user documentation is prepared, and security and authorizations are maintained.
Assist in reviewing business processes to identify areas for improvement. Lead workshops to address cross-functional issues and processes, and provide ongoing advice and support to users.

Main Requirements:
Degree in IT or a related discipline.
10 years of IT industry experience, with at least 5 years in a direct user-facing functional consulting role.
Functional experience with ERP systems, particularly Oracle, and expertise in Purchasing, Sourcing, Procurement Contracts, Inventory, and Warehouse Management.
Experience with ITIL framework/processes and modern project delivery methodologies (e.g., agile).
Experience in Oracle database programming and support of non-ERP/integrated applications is advantageous.
Upstream oil/gas industry experience is a plus.
Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Knowledge of MS SharePoint and Business Objects reporting systems/analytics tools is an advantage.
