Job Overview

Petroplan are seeking an experienced Inspection Coordinator to oversee quality assurance and inspection processes for electrical systems in a large-scale project. The role involves managing inspections, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and collaborating with contractors and technical teams to deliver high-performance results.

Job Purpose

This role involves collaboration with contractors, technical teams, and quality specialists to ensure high standards in manufacturing, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including HVDC power cables, fiber optic cables, and high-voltage equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in all round inspection activities across the manufacturing and installation of HVDC power cables, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timely delivery, and compliance with project specifications.

Job Requirements

Experience & Skills;

• Minimum 8 years in quality assurance or inspection within electrical systems, substations, or offshore projects.
• Expertise in HVDC systems, power transformers, fiber optic cables, and high-voltage equipment.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ITPs, and other quality standards.
• Proven ability to coordinate with contractors, manage NCRs, and oversee FATs.
• Education & Certifications
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Industry certifications (e.g., IEC standards, HSE qualifications) are advantageous.
• Soft Skills
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
