Join the team as an Onsite Interface Coordinator in a dynamic role supporting a major oil and gas operator at their refinery site in Joliet, Illinois. Here, you'll be at the center of refining operations, ensuring flawless coordination between design, construction, and operations while driving safety and quality. What You'll Do:

  • Be the Leader Onsite: Oversee quality, safety, and project progress, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on schedule.
  • Problem-Solver Extraordinaire: Resolve onsite challenges swiftly to keep the project moving.
  • Key Project Liaison: Interface with contractors and bridge the gap between design and construction, ensuring inputs are properly integrated.
  • Champion of Safety: Participate in audits and ensure all activities meet the highest safety standards.
  • Manage RFIs & Approvals: Coordinate Requests for Information and ensure any design deviations receive the necessary approvals.
  • Drive Innovation: Contribute to interdisciplinary checks, lessons learned, and value-added workshops, bringing new ideas to the table.
  • Constructability Expert: Review engineering designs with an eye for real-world application and on-the-ground constructability.
  • Primary Point of Contact: Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) between the LTTS-India team and all client stakeholders, managing communication across project management, engineering, procurement, and operations.
  • Hands-On Engineering Support: Review and stamp engineering documents, resolve queries through site coordination, and verify P&IDs with as-built conditions.
  • Innovative Solutions Provider: Propose cost-effective, time-saving solutions for Turnaround (MOC) jobs, from destruct scope to tie-ins.
  • Onsite Guru: Provide insights from site walk-throughs, sharing photos, sketches, and data to enhance engineering design.
  • Collaborative Partner: Work closely with stakeholders to resolve design issues and improve site access and maintenance measures, like platforms and monorails.
  • Project Review Participation: Be a valued contributor to both internal and external project review meetings.


What You Bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • 15-17 years of hands-on experience in a fast-paced project environment.
