Job Overview: 

On behalf of our major PMC client, Petroplan are seeking a Technical Services Leader to prove expert oversight and direction on all technical aspects of multi-disciplinary projects within Oil & projects. The leader is responsible for the successful execution of projects, ensuring that design and engineering, HSE, UXO, QA/QC, GIS, environmental remediation, and construction activities are managed efficiently and effectively.
This role will require a proactive approach to risk management, compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and the delivery of high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 15 years of post-graduation professional experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience within the Oil & Gas, refinery, or petrochemical industry, specifically with heavy oil projects.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior or specialist designation within a related field.
  • Proven track record in managing multi-projects with multi-disciplinary teams, including design & engineering, HSE, QA/QC, GIS, environmental remediation technologies, and construction functions.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage complex projects simultaneously.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in coordinating design and engineering activities.
  • Ability to oversee and implement health, safety, and environmental policies effectively.
  • Proficiency in managing UXO risk assessments and clearance operations.
  • Expertise in environmental remediation, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Experience managing construction activities, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and budget compliance.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Lead and coordinate design and engineering efforts, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Direct UXO risk assessments and clearance operations, maintaining high safety and compliance standards.
  • Manage environmental remediation projects, ensuring full compliance with all regulations and safety measures.
  • Supervise construction activities, ensuring timely completion, cost management, and adherence to safety protocols.
