Full time Staff Position

The Role:

An enthusiastic and proven Information Manager is required for the implementation of project Information Management systems for executing major energy transition, olefins, refinery and petrochemical projects located in both domestic and international markets.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Review client requirements and define overall tools/digital strategy for projects and proposals including budgeting and planning.
  • Support Project Manager in the definition of the digital scope in the development of the project execution plans.
  • Leads and steers Information Management, Tools and systems setup and document control activities in projects.
  • Oversees implementation of digital services on projects. Support by monitoring, troubleshooting and coordinating project staff.
  • internal coordination (technical sections, procurement planning and Project Manager) and discussions with external parties, such as clients and vendors.
  • Coordinate, provide direction and support to project staff on digital execution.
  • Review available digital tools within the company, select tools for implementation, review them and provide direction.
  • Review project and operational data, propose and implement solutions for execution and operational improvement.
  • Up to date knowledge of tools available in the market and digital services offering
  • Lead the implementation of new digital tools and methods, support both internally as well as externally.
  • Identify opportunities for digital services and support sales efforts during tendering phase
  • Lead implementation of new business opportunities leveraging digital technologies
  • Focal point in communication with all stakeholders (from client to management team) in digital scope.
  • Be prepared to travel in the UK and overseas for meetings.

Your background and experiences:

  • You are a team leader, with team/people management experience.
  • Direct work experience in working on engineering projects.
  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science of Business is preferred.
  • Experience in Project Systems Management, Project Data Management, and Project Document Management within a project environment is required.
  • Strong knowledge of methods for data-centric execution
  • Knowledge of systems and tools related to the design, construction, and operation of energy-related capital projects, including engineering design systems, data and document management systems, and project systems (estimating, project controls, procurement, construction, commissioning systems and information technology).
  • Able to overview the overall project execution workflow.
  • Able to manage multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and can effectively manage Stakeholders.
  • Affinity for digital systems and tools, and their implementation on the business
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and oral)
