Desktop Engineer - PLQ

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Full-Time Desktop to support US based LNG export facility and service the global demand for North American natural gas. This Louisiana-based position will support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support for Mac workstations with at least 4 years of experience.
• Offer support for mobile devices, drawing on 4 years of experience.
• Administer Office 365 applications including Desktop Apps, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Exchange.
• Understand and support conference room audiovisual (AV) systems.
• Handle patching and application deployment using SCCM or other MDM tools like InTune, JAMF, or Desktop Central.
• Provide support to executive end users.
• Manage and deploy IT desktop assets.
• Address and resolve daily support tickets.
• Document new and existing IT processes.
• Enjoy working with end users and troubleshooting desktop issues.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Be able to climb stairs and walk considerable distances outdoors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Computer or Information Sciences.
• Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) certification.
• Over 4 years of experience supporting mobile devices.
• More than 4 years of experience in Apple user environments.
• Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT) and/or Apple Certified iOS Technician (ACiT) certifications are a plus.
• General knowledge of Azure Active Directory or experience with On-Premises Active Directory.
• JAMF certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Office 365.
• Skills in Teams meetings and audiovisual (AV) support.
