Engineering Project Manager, Electrical Projects

Job Description

Petroplan is recruiting for an Engineering Project Manager for Electrical Projects to join our clients site engineering team in Cameron, Louisiana.

Key Responsibilities:

• Approve and sign off on electrical Management of Change (MOC) and Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP).
• Serve as the site's technical authority for electrical engineering matters.
• Provide input for the weekly site engineering report.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on Power Systems.
• At least 10 years of experience working with electrical systems.
• Proficiency with domestic and/or international electrical codes and standards, including NEC, NFPA, NETA, and ANSI.
• Familiarity with power systems modeling tools such as ETAP or SKM is preferred.
• Experience in LNG liquefaction facilities is highly desirable.

• Switchgears (138kV, 4.16kV, 480V)
• Motor Control Centers (MCC)
• Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)
• Transformers
• Energy Management Systems (EMS/SCADA)
• Electrical system studies
