Project Engineering Manager, Pre-Treatment Systems

Job Description

Petroplan is recruiting for a Project Engineering Manager, Pre-Treatment System (PTS) on behalf of a US-Based LNG Operator. This position will be located on site in Cameron, Louisiana.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Professional certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Project Engineering/Management, including at least 4 years in the LNG sector.
• Extensive knowledge of project management systems and principles, with significant experience working with engineering and management teams to develop tools for operational readiness, performance monitoring, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary on-site contact for all PTS engineering technical matters.
• Contribute to weekly site engineering reports.
• Serve as the PTS Request for Information (RFI) Owner.
• Address and resolve the UOP punch list.
• Validate check sheets and sign off on A and B Inspection Test Records (ITRs) in coordination with site staff.
• Review Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) work packages for accuracy and completeness.
• Assess and provide feedback on installation, erection, and pre-commissioning plans, documents, and requirements, including reviewing installation manuals and communicating specific needs to site coordinators.
• Inspect key equipment upon arrival and participate in site walk-downs.
• Maintain records of scope transferred to the site and engage in interface meetings between EPC and Owner-Furnished Equipment (OFE) contractors.
• Support system turnover processes, including reviews of Mechanical Completion (MC) systems, Documentation for Operations (DFO) tasks, Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs), and related activities.
• Collaborate with the commissioning team on pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup tasks, participating in planning sessions as needed and validating completion matrix tags and system boundaries in advance.
