Job Description
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Part of project team for engineering projects.
- Provide leadership in delivery of technical deliverables in project.
Primary Duties:
- Lead the engineering team in the project
- Provide interface and coordination between project team and Client
- Check the engineering deliverables for correctness and completeness
- Lead the technical review meeting and close out all comments
- Manage and control the manpower and man-hour budget in the project
- Manage all design changes for approval by Client
- Manage, review and approve all 3rd party services technical work
- Review and approve detailed engineering deliverables
- Manage filing and archiving of technical document
- Undertake other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
- Compliant to QHSSE elements in work activities
Key Result Areas:
- Complete all technical work in the project meeting client satisfaction
- Complete technical work within the project schedule and budget
Competencies/Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experienced in detailed engineering projects
- Working knowledge in HYSIS and other process simulation software
- General knowledge with standard international specifications and codes
- Good knowledge of procurement, fabrication, HU&C work
- Knowledge of Safety and Quality Procedures
- Excellent coordination, monitoring and supervisory skills
Qualification and Minimum Requirement:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Registered as engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia
- Minimum 8 - 15 years of solid working experience in engineering in oil & gas industry
