Job Description

KEY OBJECTIVES
Responsible for interfacing and coordinating works for both Offshore Facilities and Onshore Gas Plant project starting from EPC tendering until completion of EPC execution, i.e., Detailed engineering design, Procurement, construction & pre-commissioning, commissioning.

Senior Engineer, Interface also interfaces, and coordinates with multi-disciplinary engineers, contractors, nearby Plant, to deliver the project in accordance with Company technical requirements, schedule, and budget. He/she will be responsible to monitor and highlight any potential interface issues throughout the project execution including the proposal and implementation of any practical solutions, in addition to providing regular reports and analysis of Contractor performance with regards to Interface issues.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Senior Engineer, Interface shall be responsible for the Project interface covering all Engineering Phases from Detailed engineering, Procurement, Construction, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Start-up and Performance test of Offshore Facilities and Onshore Gas Plant.

Senior Engineer, Interface shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Act as a project focal point for project coordination of Interface points both among Project team and External parties.
• Ensure the effective coordination of interfaces between offshore project facilities and OGP Outside Battery limit facilities with Project team and external parties e.g., nearby Plants, etc.
• Ensure alignment of design information share/exchange between two Project teams in timely manner.
• Facilitate meeting, workshop, coordination between Client project team, government authority, Contractor, nearby Plant, etc.
• Assist with providing solutions for and justification of project interface issues.
• Participate in and contribute to, Project technical reviews such as Risk assessment, HAZID, HAZOP, etc.
• Identify the need for and ensure appropriate reviews and audits are implemented to support assurance of interface management performance.
• Provide interface supports during engineering, procurement, logistic, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning phases to project engineers.
• Monitor and assist with resolution of, any project interface issues that surface at jobsites expeditiously for smooth completion of construction.
• Assist Onshore & Offshore Interface Team Leaders & Project engineers in general Interface related matters as required.
• Provision of and input to Interface Reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly), support the generation of critical interface lists (weekly, monthly, quarterly) from the Interface Management System (IMS), and general support to Project Interface Team. (Training provided)

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field Desired Competency (Skills and Abilities)
• Minimum 4 years of proven Project Engineering experience.
• Familiar with international codes and standards commonly accepted in the oil and gas industry including to related local regulations for offshore and onshore facilities.
• Thorough understanding of the risks and the technical/commercial issues associated with the development of oil and gas projects.
• Proven ability to build strong working relationship with internal and external parties.
• Very good in communication, coordination and organizing skills with ability to work with minimal supervision and liaise effectively and efficiently with other team members within / outside Department.
• Demonstrate high level of interpersonal skills, integrity and problem solving in complex project and business environments.

Work Experiences

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Offshore Oil & Gas industry.
• Experiences in FEED/EPC for Offshore and/or Onshore facilities of a similar scope/scale to Lang Lebah project.
• Experiences in interface management and stakeholder management e.g., Asset, JV Partner, Government authority, etc.
• Experience of executing a project in Sarawak area is an advantage.
