Job Opportunity: Principal Technical Support Analyst - Global Energy Company

A global leader in the energy sector is looking for a Principal Technical Support Analyst to join their team in Basingstoke, UK. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the IT Service Desk team.
• Oversee incoming service desk requests, ensuring efficient resolution of user issues.
• Provide VIP support and act as the escalation point for critical issues.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure, development, and support teams in the UK and HQ in Italy.
• Provide 1st and 2nd line Service Desk support to onsite and remote users.
• Manage hardware deployment (PCs, CAD systems, laptops, smartphones, and tablets).
• Ensure systems meet internal and external compliance, particularly related to cyber security.
• Train the service desk team and enhance internal IT processes.

What You'll Need:

• Experience in a Service Desk environment with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft products, IT hardware, networks, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and a "can-do" attitude with a focus on driving efficiency and lowering costs.
• Experience supporting IT systems compliance with security standards.
