A leading global energy company is seeking a Project Coordination Engineer to join their engineering team in Basingstoke. The company is at the forefront of the energy transition, developing projects focused on decarbonization, renewables, and hydrogen solutions. The office, located in central Basingstoke, is just a five-minute walk from the mainline railway station, offering easy access and ample free parking. The company also offers a SmartWorking policy, allowing employees to work remotely for up to 12 days per month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Engineering Manager in coordinating engineering activities across multiple projects.
• Ensure design integrity by reviewing critical engineering deliverables.
• Liaise with Technical Authorities to maintain compliance with engineering and HSE standards.
• Monitor project progress, report on status, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Assist in developing project management plans with a focus on risk, interface, and change management.
• Ensure adherence to the highest HSEQ standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Flexibility for occasional travel as required.

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong technical background in the energy industry, with experience from concept to detailed engineering and EPC stages.
• Experience in project management, with the ability to provide technical support to teams.
• Familiarity with technical codes and standards (Industry Standards and International Codes).
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage risks and make decisions in uncertain situations.
• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
