Senior Project Manager - Project Execution

Job Description

Petroplan is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee complex, integrated Turnaround outages on behalf of a US-based LNG exporter.

About:

This critical role involves planning, coordinating, executing, communicating, and concluding these projects. The successful candidate will be well-versed in managing outages that involve gas turbines, pretreatment facilities, licensed liquefaction units, instrumentation and controls upgrades, and other related tasks. In this position you will lead a diverse team of internal and external resources to create and execute a cohesive outage schedule, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Can be based in Houston, TX or onsite in Cameron, LA with frequent travel to various operational facilities, project locations, contractors, vendors, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extensive knowledge of industry best practices in outage management.
• Expertise in LNG technical operations, capable of resolving complex issues.
• Ability to make decisions on complex project components and overall outage tasks.
• Lead the integration of resources, identify process improvements, and implement advanced techniques.
• Plan and manage complex plant outages.
• Utilize independent judgment to evaluate risk, safety, cost, and scheduling factors.
• Serve as project/technical lead on medium to large outage projects, coordinating cross-departmental work.
• Train and mentor employees on technical skills.
• Collaborate to resolve significant issues and provide solutions.
• Lead matrix organization teams.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal groups, corporate stakeholders, construction contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Promote a strong safety culture, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence.
• Ensure the delivery of a safe and operable plant while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Develop and monitor schedules, communicating status and risks, and adhering to established outage management procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business or engineering.
• 10 years of specialized experience in LNG project outage management, plant maintenance, and/or operations.
• Advanced technical expertise in LNG operations, capable of resolving complex issues.
• Proficient in multiple knowledge areas and functions as an advanced contributor.
