We have partnered with our trusted client that is looking for a Gas Plant Accounting Specialist/ Senior Accountant.

The role will be involved with interpreting and analyzing information surrounding the delivery, processing, and allocation of all volumes handled at each plant.

Familiarity with TIPS processes required.

Responsibilities

• Support efforts in TIPS setup of new wells, contracts, allocation, or operational changes
• Prepare TIPS data inputs required to run allocations and settlements
• Run plants in TIPS and validate TIPS settlements
• Verify plant accounting transactions including settlements, payables & receivables in PRA and TIPS and upload results to SAP
• Support in reviewing gas processing contracts and document their impact on TIPS setup
• Prepare monthly third-party settlements and provide to third party customers
• Support in processing of TIPS prior period adjustments backlog
• Part of team working closely with Quorum and IT to design, test, and implement TIPS changes
• Assist with resolving variances in Global Production System (GPS) exception report
• Support in preparing monthly & annual regulatory compliance reports from TIPS
• Support with providing responses to internal & external inquiries and TIPS data ad hoc request

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or related
• 5 or more years of accounting experience - must have 1 year in gas plant accounting
• Knowledge of gas processing contracts, allocations, and transactions
• TIPS experience required
• Experience with SAP or ERP System
