Job Description

Our client is seeking a Full-Time Manager, Cybersecurity Operations to support US based LNG export facility and service the global demand for North American natural gas. This Arlington, VA-based position will support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of complex information systems, cybersecurity threats, defense strategies, and leading market solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations, industry standards, and data privacy laws.
  • Assess Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Incident Response (IR) readiness and assist in planning and conducting BCP and IR tabletop exercises.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust information security policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Monitor security incidents and breaches, ensuring timely response, resolution, and thorough documentation.
  • Define and track metrics to effectively communicate risk levels, team performance, and goal achievement.
  • Serve as the Incident Response Manager, overseeing the end-to-end incident response program.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on cybersecurity performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and threat intelligence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of professional experience implementing technology solutions in the energy sector or related industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including network security, application security, threat intelligence, and incident response.
  • Expertise in vulnerability management, cloud security, and endpoint protection.
  • Proven track record in managing cybersecurity teams and projects.
  • Proficiency in cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliance.
  • Awareness of emerging cybersecurity threats and evolving technologies.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to detect and address cybersecurity risks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience managing security operations, monitoring KPIs, and driving continuous process improvement.
