Our client is currently recruiting for a Senior Operations Supervisor who will be responsible for planning, oversee and coordinate maintenance of the facilities and utility equipment at offshore to ensure flawless operation of export/ import of crude oil.

Essential experience:

  • Plans, supervises, and directs the activities of subordinates to ensure it is carried out in a safe working practices and follows procedures.
  • Prepares maintenance Schedules for SBMs and utility equipment such as Swing ropes, Safety equipment, moorings, Positioning of moorings offshore, maintenance of Navigation aids etc.
  • Review SAP notification create work order for execution and update progress regularly.
  • Finalizes dry-docking list for all three SBMs with detailed Scope of work and estimated cost including all type of resources such as man, material, and location.

Qualifications:

  • Sc in Engineering/ Ship repair, H.N.D in Mechanical / Marine engineering, or 1st Class Motor D.O.T. Certificate of Competency or its equivalent as recognized by the I.M.O.
  • 10-15 year's relevant experience.
  • Hands on experience covering all aspects of SBM operations and related maintenance.

This is a new role responsible for the development and implementation of a range (and high number) of applications. This role would suit someone who is enjoys working in a fast paced and innovative environment.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements and functional specifications, assessing the current software systems in place in order to identify areas in need of improvement, and overseeing development teams.

Other duties include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Build and integrate information systems to meet the company's needs
  • Oversee integration of systems and data from the Plant control systems, Plant IT systems to Corporate IT systems
  • Provide governance for data and IT solutions implementation
  • Assess the systems architecture currently in place and work with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it

  • Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design
  • Hands-on experience integrating between Plant IT systems, Plant Historians, SaaS applications, SAP S4 Hana, and cloud environments (Azure or AWS) in a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience developing and supporting data analytics, dashboards
  • Hands-on experience implementing simultaneous projects
  • Previous project management experience is advantageous

Experience & Skills Requested

  • A minimum of 10 years Sea going experience as officer of the watch with at least 5 years' experience on large size vessel (VLCC, Capesize) in capacity as Chief Officer or Master. Or 5 years Sea going experience on large size vessel (VLCC, Capesize) as Chief Officer or Master, and 5 years as Pilot on all types of vessel.
  • Detail knowledge of International, State and Local regulations pertaining to Port operations, logistics, and fully familiar with International Maritime Conventions such as SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, etc.
  • Detail knowledge of the management of large-scale port cargo operations including port rules, regulations, policies and procedures pertaining to operations and activities.

This is a 1 year contract position.

At the senior level of the construction project management family the focus of this position is to take on increasingly challenging assignments that support project requirements, be able to work independently, and able to coordinate the management team for execution alignment.

The primary focus of the Project Scheduler is to develop, detail, expand and maintain project schedules for one or more projects managed by the department. The planning and schedule development will be done in conjunction with other stakeholders within the project teams.


Specific Accountabilities:
Provides logistics/scheduling related technical support and manages project schedules to assigned internal client groups for planning, procurement, development, construction and maintenance activities by:

  • Adhering to enterprise scheduling standards for development and implementation of schedules, ensures standards are current, e.g., Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
  • Updating, revising and detailing for schedules as projects progress through development and execution stages, e.g., updating the schedules based on earned-value data from the Field Construction Analysts and other sources of construction tracking and reporting information
  • Assist with interpreting performance of scheduled activities and communicating issues to the Project Manager, e.g., analyzing the impacts that schedule updates will have on baseline plans, ensuring resource requirements for schedules are incorporated at planning stages and continuously developed through the project lifecycle,
  • Developing and managing schedule performance indicators
  • Providing technical advice related to scheduling/planning/logistics. Developing detailed "what-if" schedules as requested to communicate options to the project team, identifying critical path elements and associated logic driven options, etc.
  • Representing the department by providing advice and coordination of internal projects and associated external activities, e.g., customers, partners, consultants, etc.
  • Providing technical and business advice on the preparation and disposition of documents required for project completion, e.g., providing reports, schedules, updates and input as required regarding scheduling and planning for the projects.
  • Interface with the various stakeholders on the project team and other key stakeholders to receive the information required for accurate and timely critical-path management of the project schedules.
  • Ensuring cost and schedule integration across all project controls systems.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Technical college diploma or university degree in a related field
  • 7 - 10 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Aptitude and communications skills related to acting independently as a senior logistics/scheduling professional
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize workload in a fast paced and dynamic environment and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Possess an aptitude for successfully building relationships with project staff, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Expert level knowledge of Primavera P6
  • Experience with oil and gas construction projects

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate development of overall Project Execution Plan.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of project controls deliverables including but limited to:
  • Cost Report and Cost Variance Analysis, Cash Flow Report and Variance Analysis, Schedule Report and Schedule Variance Analysis, Project Change Management Procedure, Project Controls Plan

  • will be responsible for Saudi, Kuwait and Bahrain markets
  • seek out the appropriate contact in an organization
  • generate leads and call prospective customers
  • meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone
  • understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
  • think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
  • work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
  • have a good understanding of the division's products and services (wireless communications networks) and be able to advise others about them
  • create a sales pipeline
  • negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases
  • carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management.
  • discuss promotional strategy and activities with the division
  • keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications
  • Master's degree in business, marketing or related field
  • At least 10 years' experience in wireless communications products sales, marketing or related field
